If you are like many people who are interested in becoming a professional Formula 1 racer, you will need to get your hands on a Formula 1 car. Although there are hundreds of different types of Formula 1 cars available for purchase, most are based on the chassis that was originally designed by Formula 1 racer Niki Lauda. A Formula One race car is basically a single-seater, open top, wide-bodied racing car, with rear and front wings, an electric motor situated under the driver's seat, and a powerful engine located behind the cockpit. There are two main series of Formula 1 cars, and each series is designed to represent a different era in the history of the Formula One races.
Lauda's original Formula 1 car, the Niki Lauda Racing Lotus, was also the first ever open-wheel car in history. Although it was a design that was not very successful, the Lotus remains to this day one of the most popular and recognizable open-top race cars ever made. In fact, many people buy Lotus cars simply because they have such a beautiful design, with some people even going as far as to build their own Lotus for the sole purpose of displaying it in the garden.
The second series of Formula one cars that Lauda designed was the Lotus-Renault. This car was also one of the first open-tops cars and had a rear-engine layout, similar to the car that Richard Pirelli raced in the 1974 F1 season. Both these open-tops cars were based off of the Lotus-Renault race car design.
The third series of Formula one cars that Lauda designed was the Williams-Renault. It is the only car in the series that features a side-engine configuration. The Williams-Renault was also the last car from the Niki Lauda Racing Lotus series to be made and features a similar design to the car that was eventually developed for Mario Andretti.
Another type of car that you may want to look into is the BMW-Renault. Although these cars feature a more compact engine and are built on a chassis that is very similar to the Lotus-Renault, they are also more successful than the Lotus car in terms of overall popularity. These cars are often seen at Formula 1 races, and there are several different manufacturers that make these kinds of cars, such as BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Ford, and Jaguar.
All of the cars listed above are very well known and very successful in the world of Formula one racing. However, if you do not have the budget to purchase one of these cars, there are a number of other types that you can choose from, including the Ferrari or McLaren F1 cars. These cars feature a small, compact engine, which is usually housed in the trunk of the car and can be fitted with a carbon monocoque, which is much lighter than the traditional frame of a standard car.
