The FIA World RX Championship is an international rallycross championship organised by the Federation of International Automobile Racing (FIA). The RX Championship, also known as the F1 Championship, is the official motor sport of the United Nations (UN) Department of Sport. The F1 Championship races take place in different countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and North America.
The FIA World RX Championship has two categories, the Superlite class and the Intermediate class. There are two divisions for each category. The Superlite class includes the cars that run on a track only, while the Intermediate class is the one that runs on dirt roads and can take part in the main event. All the cars in the Superlite class are built using the same chassis and bodywork but different engines. The cars of the Intermediate class are built on the basis of the Superlite class and have more powerful engines and a better chassis.
The rules for the RX category stipulate that all the car manufacturers must use cars that comply with the minimum safety regulations that have been laid down by the governing body of motorsport. The cars must be fitted with the most modern safety features and be equipped with safety equipment that will ensure the safety of the race participants. Car safety is therefore a key aspect of the FIA World RX Championship.
All the races in this category are conducted as private competitions. This means that they are organised by teams and drivers who own and operate their own cars. The series is organized by the FIA, a non-profit body, to make it more accessible to non-car owners, and as such the championship uses a prize fund and encourages participation from amateur drivers.
In addition to the benefits that the FIA World RX Championship has to offer to its participants, it also has several other advantages. It gives them a chance to race against some of the best drivers in the world. Also, as with any other motor sport, it helps to increase their chances of becoming successful in their chosen career by improving their driving skills and gaining experience that will help them when they enter a competitive situation in another car.
The main difference between the Superlite and the Intermediate class in the FIA World RX Championship is the specification of the engines they use. The Superlite category uses a small engine that has less power and speed than the ones used in the Intermediate class. Both cars are fitted with the same chassis, with separate engines that are operated through a central diffuser. The rear and a front mounted intercooler.
In the Superlite category, the race cars carry four wheel drives and aero kits whereas the ones in the Intermediate category are fitted with rear drive. The Superlite cars also come with adjustable suspension, which makes it possible for the driver to change the height of the suspension to suit the road surface. The intermediate class uses a fixed system of suspension.
Each race in the championship follows a particular schedule, and the races do not overlap each other. The championships run a total of 100 events. As with any other motor sport, drivers in the Superlite category need to complete all of these races to complete their career as a professional driver, while those in the intermediate category have the option of taking part in the European and Asian races and a few other races throughout the year.
Those involved in the Superlite category have the choice of attending the championships in one country and participating in the other ones in another, or being registered as an individual. If they wish to be a part of an organisation, they must register as an individual first and then join the team of their choice to participate in the championship.
There are also a couple of categories of drivers who can be considered as professional drivers in the FIA World RX Championship. The Superlite category includes the Superlite and the Intermediate category. A driver has to pass a certain number of points during a season before they get into the top twenty and qualify for a race of the championship, which makes it important for them to qualify for every race they enter.
Drivers can earn points by finishing in the top three positions in the race, being the first driver on the podium or winning a race. These drivers will also get an additional five points if they get to the finish line first and they earn ten more points if they get to the finish line third.
