Jason Johnson, a native of Eunice, LA, has been racing for many years. Jason first learned to race at the young age of eight when he borrowed money from his Grandfather to get him started racing. At this young age, Jason was raised in a loving family who took pride in the fact that Jason was a great athlete and a good student.
At an early age, Jason had an inclination towards cars, specifically race cars that went very fast. After this he would go on to buy his own cars, which he raced, learned to race, and eventually became a full-time race car driver. Nowadays, Jason is the owner and operator of a high performance automobile manufacturing company called Jason Racing. The company is dedicated to producing high performance vehicles for the racing community.
Jason began racing in local auto shows when he was still young, but he soon found himself being hired to race at the bigger events. He attended a few national events as a rookie, including a race in California, and was well received at the event by sponsors and other racers. Later on, Jason would win the national championship with his Ragin' Cajuns, after winning the Southern Louisiana Auto Festival in Baton Rouge, LA.
Today, Jason races to build the best racing teams in racing, and he is proud to call himself the race car driver that he is today. It is this love for the sport, and the love of competition that drives him to continue competing in races and improving his craft.
There are several races throughout the year in which Jason competes, and he always races with the same group of people every race. He is constantly improving his skills, and as he gets better, he will have the opportunity to race with more experienced competitors.
In addition to competing, Jason is an avid and very active member of his local community, attending school, volunteering at a youth center, and attending church and other events. Even though Jason loves to race, he also loves to go to the movies, hang out with friends, and play video games and spend time with his son. He is a very active and outgoing person and enjoys the idea of helping others.
Jason is a member of the Young Guns' Club and is very involved in their activities. Jason is a member of the United Auto Trade Association (UATA), is a member of the Baton Rouge Area Club of the United States of America (ARBNA), is a member of the Baton Rouge Area Sportsmen's Association (RASOA), and is a member of the Baton Rouge Area Senior Auto Club (RWASC). Jason is also an active member of the American Racing Hall of Fame and participates on a national committee.
Jason is always looking for new challenges, and is not afraid to try new things, like driving at night or even driving during rain storms. Though he has some experience in racing, there is no limit to what he can achieve and accomplish, so if you want to try racing, contact Jason Johnson Racing and ask him about getting started in the driving world.
