The Indianapolis Colts' game against the Houston Texans was one of the best matches of the season, but it could not be called an “IndyCar Barber.” While Houston's running attack was very effective, they were unable to turn their offense into an effective offense when it came to passing the football.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Houston Texans is put together what turned out to be a pretty impressive drive. After a missed extra point, the Texans scored a touchdown on their second drive to take a 10-7 lead. That set the tone for the rest of the game. On Houston's next possession, quarterback Tom Bradypoem threw an interception.
After halftime, the Indianapolis Colts came in and took control of the game. They quickly gained a sizable lead before the Houston Texans was able to get back into the game. When Houston recovered an onside kick, the Colts took over on their own end. From there, they drove down the field and scored another touchdown.
After the game, I noticed that the Colts' running game had been a real problem. There was very little good news when it came to running backs and they have to try something else to really improve their offensive performance. With two running backs who are questionable for next week, this may be a good opportunity for the Indianapolis Colts' running game to take a big leap.
In the other Indianapolis Colts' game this week against the Baltimore Ravens, quarterback Andrew Luck was very efficient with his passing game. He didn't have a great game overall, but he did complete all of his passes for over 300 yards. He did struggle on some throws but overall he was pretty effective. He had a lot of success throwing to receivers Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks.
For the most part, there were no major problems for the Indianapolis Colts this week. There were some mistakes made, but overall they were not a huge deal.
The running game, however, is a different story. They just need to take care of it and make sure that they are getting in and out of the line quickly. If they can do this, then they will be able to take over in this game. With the injuries they have sustained to their offensive line, it will be up to them to make sure that they don't have any more issues than they already have. on their offensive line.
Now that the Indianapolis Colts has won two straight games against the Baltimore Ravens, they will definitely be considered a very strong team in the NFC South. division. They have proven that they can beat any team in the NFL but now they will have to prove that they can do it consistently.
